Should you buy a LC Coupe or Convertible?
I got the vert solely to hear the v8 that much better. Everything else was secondary. Im not going to track it, i dont care that im losing 10-20% in stiffness or sportiness.
With the top down, on a sunset coastal road, v8 roaring and wind blowing, what could be better?

It's an amazing car satisfying an array of wants and a testament to a design which I learn to appreciate more and more. I've learned a little on this forum. We own something exceptional which can be modified to track acceptable performance and be slipped into comfort mode and driven from TN to CA without a hitch in comfort/handling. It's so satisfying as you express.
Next to my daily cars, I have driven convertibles as 2nd or 3rd fun cars for almost 40Y, wouldn't want to be without one.
Yes a convertible will always be less ridgid than a coupe version, but as long as it is a good design (some classic or badly designed convertibles twist/ shake and bend, you don't want that) and if you don't intend on tracking it a lot, never mind.
I do like the lines of the coupe better but as for me as it is a fun car, the convertible is the only choice.
