Anybody else notice that their Fuel Service Door does not sit flush? I’ve tried moving the gas cap, the lanyard etc but the door still seems to be forced open creating the gap towards the aft end. The door opens/closes normally and the latch is working normally. Not sure if I should try compressing the door spring further or something, I don’t want the door to close too much, just want it flush.
Pushing on it, it will just spring back out. Doesn't feel like its hitting anything, just feels like spring tension. Locked/unlocked has no effect either.
Somewhat related and in no way an attempt to hijack the thread but.....
Anyone install a fuel cap delete device?
The LC doesn't have a seal around the fuel door. The first picture is my LC, the second picture is my capless GMC and you can see the black rubber seal around the opening.

I don't think a seal matters does it? I installed an aftermarket version on my Lotus years ago and had no issues (definitely no seal either). There are lots of aftermarket products out there that could fit - just curious if anyone has done it, what the result was fitment wise and/or if I will end up being the first to try it.

Interesting, they must have made a design change to the fuel door (hinge, cap holder), my 2023 is below;
Make sure that plastic wire that connected to the cap and the door is not bundled up when closing the door. It should spin along the cap as you close it, I've had this happen to when the wire got bunched up and the door wouldn't sit flush.
