Fellow LC owners: Sorry if this thread is out there and thanks for sharing it if it is. LC is in the garage 90% of the time but still looking for the sunshade that fits the LC. Live in Texas so when I’m out and about like it to protect interior and keep the car cool. Thanks in advance.
You can always get a clear window tint, I think they call it crystalline, which will protect the interior from UV, reduce heat a bit, and not even be noticeable. If I lived in Texas, I’d get that. The only thing you’d need to worry about is using the proper chemicals when cleaning windows from the inside, as certain chemicals could damage the film. Pretty much any detailer uses the “right” stuff by default even on bare windows, but just make sure. .

FWIW, I just received one from Covercraft and the fit is not as accurate or complete as ones I have from them for our other vehicles. This one is approx 1" short on each side.
Heatshield is my other vendor of choice and will get my replacement order.

Reason: Typo
I live in Texas as well. Once you have a Covercraft sunshade, you will always get them for all your vehicles. They are custom made for each vehicle. I just got mine for the LC about a week ago. If fits perfectly, if not just a tad tight. It is double layer and works great in TX brutal sun. Part Number:
UV11568SV - I got mine through Autozone at $65 with free shipping.
On top of the sunshade, I recommend a quality ceramic tint, such as Llumar IRX, which significantly reduces the amount of UV, and therefore, heat, that gets into the car. I was driving my wife's ES 300h back from Palm Springs yesterday in 115 degree heat and very little of that was translated into the car.

Do they make a clear ceramic? I know it’s better for phone reception and other things, but I didn’t know that they offered it in clear. I haven’t bought tints in decades, as I haven’t needed them.

They do. I have 70% 3M ceramic on mine due to annoying NY tint laws. It looks like there is no tint at all, but the heat rejection difference is substantial enough to feel.

Yeah, or near enough to clear that it makes no difference. I think the IRX I mentioned comes in VLT 95 (which means 95% of light makes it in) and they also have a line of ceramic tint called AIR.
