420mi. It all depends on your mpg and that depends on how you drive the car and also the temperature and elevation.

I love the larger 26gal tank on the LC. I’m doing about 21mpg on a 1200miles engine.
Not bad. My GSF was about 23mpg but that engine has more than 20k miles on it before I sold it. I’m expecting the same MPG on the LC if not better.

Isn't the tank a hair under 22gal?

You are right. This is embarrassing. The guy without the vehicle knows more than the guy that owns one.
Im not sure why my head keep thinking it’s 26gal.
I just put in $90 of fuel yesterday at $4.65/gal.
Regardless, the fuel tank is still 4gal bigger than the other Lexus 5.0L V8 models.

Lol don't be embarrassed. I have read and watched probably the entire catalogue of LC content on the web while playing this waiting game

I have this weird 'rule' for myself, all my vehicles, LC included - never goes below half tank.

Good info above though.

what year is your lc? I recently bought a 2018 lc 500 and pumped it to full tank 91 premium fuel where the gas clicked. It only showed 288 miles. The meter on the dash even showed to full. I have reset my mpg many times also.

I was pushing 500mi a couple of times on a recent trip down the I5 through California. I tried, but found I couldn't stay in ECO for long periods of time, but I got 26-27 mpg on a couple of tanks. Car had 15-17K miles. '21 LC 500.

my mpg is 19-21, driving in eco mode/comfort mode. I mainly do highways as well. Only 20,500 miles on the car. Even when I bought the car and the dealership pump to full it stayed below 300 miles range. I will probably have to take a photo when I fill up again soon.

Have you kept track of the real range you’re getting though? Even with 18MPG driven to the low fuel warning, you still should be getting about 340mi. The low fuel usually comes on when there’s 3gal of fuel remaining. That means you’ll be pumping close to 19gal to refill.
I wonder if it takes a little while for the computer to catch up with the calculation. It could be the previous owner had a heavy foot.
Keep track of the mileage driven and the amount of fuel you fill up next time.
The range calculation by the car is just an estimation and it’s usually on the conservative side.

okay, I will have to come back to this post, and test it out by tracking the mileage and pumping the gas when close to empty if any changes happen to the fuel range

In my experience with Toyota vehicles this is exactly it. There is quite a long lag between when you've driven in a manner that destroys the range to getting it back to normal range. Like several fill ups worth.

In my van when I do road trips I crush the mpg from near 40 to barely 30. My estimated range ends up being around 500 miles. It takes me weeks of normal driving and 2-3 fill ups to get it to start reading back over 650 miles range on a full tank. That doesn't mean I don't go back to getting the near 40mpg during normal driving though, just that the computer takes its sweet time realizing your driving habits changed again.

When I hit 0 miles range in the van and fill up I still only fill at most 15-16 gallons out of an 18 gallon tank
