How to reset this reminder?

Default How to reset this reminder?

I got this from the app, I changed the Key Fob battery, but the app still show I need to change new battery. Does snyone know how to reset the app to make it go away? Thanks.

Did you start the car after changing the battery? The car won't know to tell the app it's good to go after you change the battery unless you go interact with the car.

If you did that and it still shows then I'd just give it some time

Try changing out the 2nd fob battery as well.

It been a while and I changed new battery again.

I wouldn’t call that a reminder. It’s detecting the battery health in the fob. It’s not based on a time or mileage based interval. So I believe it’s “reset” when you change the battery.

I changed the battery twice, and I also changed the battery of the 2nd one. But the app still not reset it. It still show "Key Fob" Low! I use the app to start stop and everything, but it still not reset.

Try going into the Status tab and hit the refresh button......

Did you use your finger to drag down on the phone screen? It resets the app for certain functions.

Possibly you have to sign out of the app and resign in. The key might need to be used to start the car. Then get the phone near the car and the key fob. I believe the signal to the phone comes from the car, But the car needs to sense the key fob battery first.

I did everything: uninstall, reinstall, refresh, sign off sign in again, start with key fob, inside car with key fob and phone..still no luck.

Good one, I got caught by that before. Brand new removed from the blister pack and it was dead. Pretty embarrassing but lesson learned. Any questionable batteries are verified with a multimeter now.

Call Lexus to see what they can do. I have dealt with this type of problem with other systems and a refresh/reset signal needed to be sent from the service provider.

You can call the Lexus Brand Engagement Center at 1-800-255-3987 for help with the Lexus app. Their hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM ET, and Saturday, 9 AM–7 PM ET.

Thank you. I give them a call.
Very intetesting, I gave them a call. They told me it cleared the Alarm Key Fob battery when they open my account, but they dont know why it is not clear on my app. They said they will email me to let me know when they figure it out.
