Default LC DIY Dent Repair

I found a small dent in my LC on the driver rear panel. It's mostly only noticeable against the sunlight, but annoying nonetheless.

My dealer said it may be possible to remove the fuel door and impact it out from the inside. Any DIY thoughts? I don't think it can be suctioned out.

See attached pics.

I don't have an LC, but had a similar issue on a BMW 4 series convertible. The paintless dent repair guy rolled down the back quarter window and went down between the glass and sheet metal. Dent was gone in about 15 minutes.

If possible this may be the way to go as you get more leverage on the tool rather than trying to go through fuel door.

PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) is the answer here. Those guys know what they are doing.

I'd second Lou's PDR recommendation, but be aware PDR results on a body crease like your dent are more difficult for them to make look perfect. Have had cars damaged by hail that had extensive PDR to fix them including several spots on vehicle creases - most came out fine so worth a shot.

And don't buy one of those junky PDR's from Amazon with the pucks and glue sticks. From personal experience last week, they are not worth the effort and actually create more work (no, it wasn't used on my LC).

Since on a crease, i agree, professional repair vs DIY...and expect to pay a bit more.

Not all PDR guys are the same. Sometimes the really good ones can do it without access behind the panel.

It's nice that the existing small holes can be used for the doors.
