It’s time to tell them to refund your money and get a Porsche.

That's insane, what could possibly take 2 months besides some kind of damage during transit or at the port that needed repair. I'd be concerned how they care for these things for 2 months, or are cars just sitting with dead batteries until it's time to move them.
Still no idea! Dealership's best guess is it was waiting on a part that was backordered, but I wouldn't take the chance there was something really wrong with it. Of course 3 days after I gave up and got my deposit back the car was suddenly available, but ah well. Funnily enough it's for sale right now but I've got no temptation to trade in my LC for it

@NickL I agree they should ask for a refund but don't think they should get a Porsche instead. I tried (unsuccessfully) to order a new Boxster Spyder from a local Porsche dealer here in NC over several months before I got my '23 LC 'vert. Even though I offered to stroke a check for the full build price, they seemed totally disinterested in selling me the car (i.e. no follow-up, no returned phone calls, no interest in taking my order, etc.). I'm thrilled it worked out that way - I love my Lexus and currently I'm the ONLY one in the area with an LC 500 (vs. two dozen or so Porsches in the neighborhood I live in).

Agreed. Dealers like that don’t deserve your money.

Are you saying I should ask for a refund because the car hasn't been delivered yet after 3 weeks at port? Call me crazy but that sounds like an overreaction of the highest caliber lol we are not nearly there yet. If I'm here and september rolls around with no car then it's something to consider. At this point I'd be very surprised if gets to the end of July with no car.

Fully agree. You'll get your car soon and I look forward to seeing it!

I'm holding myself over by watching every youtube video of the LC i can dig up

Unfortunately I did have to reschedule my PPF appointment for mid-august now, so will have to drive extra cautiously for a few weeks assuming the car comes in before then.

well the newest ETA, here's to hoping it will come in sooner. Dealer told me it moved into "Freight" status today, which apparently actually means it's finally off the vessel and under processing at the port facility which means this ETA is a bit more firm than what I was being given all along. Would have been nice if this kind of information was provided earlier in the process, despite my DAILY emails.

So by all estimates another 1-2 weeks before it gets on a truck and delivered. With any luck it'll be a quicker process than cars that get PPF or other accessories installed since there are no real port options being installed besides the key gloves and glass sensor.

Not sure why no one has picked this one up. It’s been there for awhile.
Theres nothing really special about Bespoke build. Factory Bepsoke is the same thing and no wait. I have a Bespoke and I would definitely not wait for it.
There’s plenty of USB Bespoke or non Bespoke. Just walk in the dealer and start negotiating and drive home the vehicle the same day. None of this BS wait game. Lexus Bespoke is a joke. Many restrictions and not worth the wait. You pay msrp on your Bespoke build and wait. Or you contact a dealer that has the Bespoke you want and start negotiating the price and get it shipped. You still come out on top after the shipping fee.

I shopped this exact vehicle in your first link, this is my dealership. That vehicle is pre-sold (it is not listed on the dealership website inventory, only on the parent autotrader site which is not accurate to actual dealer inventory), and is already spoken for anyway and thus not available for sale. I've told the dealer if the buyer on this one falls through before mine comes in that I will take it since it has the white interior.

The other one they have @ $115k in your 2nd link is mine. FWIW I basically did what you've stated. The Bespoke I have coming is actually just an allocation built by the factory that my dealership picked up; that's why it has things I don't want like the Alcantara headliner. I didn't go through the order process. I'm just waiting for it to arrive, it was on the boat to the dealership when I placed the deposit on June 24th. If you wait for it to hit the lot here it won't be available anymore. The only LCs I see available on the lot are convertibles or white ones, neither of which I want.

Waiting a few weeks for the car is not worth me wracking my brain calling umpteen dealerships trying to negotiate on a vehicle they don't want to sell for under MSRP then worrying about shipping or pick up logistics. I have a car that gets me where I need to go and waiting is no skin off my back since I'm paying cash for the vehicle.

These posts were meant to be jovial, I don't know why this is being taken so seriously.

INTERESTING. I contacted a salesman about that car (maybe a month ago?) and he said it was available. (He had two USB, and there was some confusion about which one he was showing me, but we confirmed it was the Blue/Black.) I checked back about two weeks later, when it fell off the Lexus inventory page, and he said it was sold. Last week he emailed me and said “it may be available.” I told him that I wasn’t interested in playing games, and just tell me if he has a car to sell, so you won’t be bidding against me, but there’s clearly one sales guy at least pretending that this car could be available. (Maybe he just wants me to order a new car, but I’m pretty far away and only wanted that car as it was, soon to be, in stock.)
