Wise soul answer….
So after all this worrying, I went to a PPF specialist ( not associated with Lexus) and they said they are very sure it is a piece of dirt that caused this imperfection. They truly suggested to leave it alone and just use touch up paint to try and hide the imperfection. When my car was under his fluorescent lights, you can truly see how ****ty a job they did at the port using the 3m film on the front part of the hood( the guy filmed over a piece of dirt, and never tried to double check his work) . I understand they are dealing with a lot of cars, but this is a 110,000 dollar car! I also never signed up for this option when I ordered the car , but they just figured I wanted every option. Now, that is spilled milk! I love the car and learned a valuable lesson, only let professionals work on your car. Thanks all for your patience and advice! Nothing in life is perfect and I truly need to understand that and just be grateful for what we have!
To use touch up paint on top of ppf? How you can paint a ppf and how it will hold. I would rather just take a permanent grey marker ant very careful painted that area. Do it little by little till you like the result
