So I am picking up my new 24 LC500,coupe tomorrow and went and saw it today. Unfortunately, they already attached the license plate frame to the front grill. For those of you that have removed it, does it show that something was there. It looks like only 2 screws hold it, but not sure. Thanks in advance!
Lexus has come a long way from their VPC drilling gaping holes to install the plate holder frame. All you'll see on the LC is the mounting screw holes, w/c are barely noticeable from 3'.

Hey OP, if you buy it, can you post a close-up look of how it looks like when you remove the bracket? I live in TX, which is a front plate state, and a front bracket installed is an immediate deal-breaker for me... unless I can remove the bracket without any signs it was ever there, which is rare. So very curious if it can be done on the LC, so I can consider cars that also have a front bracket installed. Thank you.
^^^^When I bought mine years ago, the front plate holder was also a deal breaker for me I found one that I liked in Colorado, but that one was drilled and had the holder I found another in Nebraska, and thankfully no front plate holder. I bought that one
I agree guys, but unfortunately they drilled the plate frame on at the port. Not much I can do now, but definitely not a deal breaker for me. It really does look like only 2 screws hold the frame in, so I will see…

How bad are the holes? I can barely see the 3-4mm holes on mine...
Yeah, I can definitely live with that too. I'd first try to find those kinds of plugs to hold the trunk lining in place (but smaller, of course), which you just push in. But if that failed, I'd fill them with black RTV or epoxy (plastic welder). They're hardly visible. Thank you very much for posting that picture.

Installing the license plate frame is a dealer prep step, not a port installed item. If the dealer told you that, they're lying.
I've purchased both a '21 LC500 convertible and a '24 LC500 convertible. For the '21 I sent the sales woman an entire paragraph about how I didn't want anything to do with the front license plate drilled or installed. The first picture she sends me of the car has the front plate installed. I told them no sale. They removed it and had their detail guy fill the holes with some kind of plastic repair stuff. If I didn't know that the holes were there, I wouldn't have been able to find them. The repair was that good. So, talk to the dealership about having their detail guy fix the plastic.
For the '24 I told the sales guy this ^^^ story, he caught the car when the truck got there and made sure that they didn't install the front plate. Obviously never drilling the holes is better, but that detailer had some way to fix the plastic that was practically flawless.

You know what? I thought it was dealers too, but apparently we're wrong... and even about the port. I'm watching a video of the LC factory, on an active thread called 'LC VIDEO THREAD', which is on post #25, and on minute 5:06, a white LC is shown with the freaking bracket installed. It goes away instantly, so pause it. I never imagined the factory would install a bracket, but apparently it does. So my guess is dealers must ask for that, I assume, since many cars don't have it installed. Just wanted to point that out. Learned something (unpleasant) today. Ha ha.

My guess is dealers w/front plate law don't want the drama. TBH i'd rather Motomachi do it vs the VPC.
If I owned a dealership, I'd NEVER pre-install the freaking front bracket, especially on an expensive car (only if owner requests it). Even if required, most owners don't want it installed, including me. But I was surprised the factory actually installing it. Never seen that before. It's always the port, or the great majority of times, the dealers... and when cars arrive.
