LC500 Alarm
in my case, I had just bought the car and had it for all of 2 days before I handed it over to the shop, what I should have done was drove it for a month and made sure that all was well before giving them the car, I could not blame them afterwards since the car was used and I didn’t have it for that long, so I ended up taking it to the dealer, and after $1200 they showed me the fuse panel that had corrosion on the fuses in the fuse panel, then it made sense what had happened. I talked to the previous owner and he bought the car new, and I believe him that the car had nothing wrong with it when he sold it to me, great guy just didn’t get that vibe from him, the reason that I didn’t have the tint shop pay for the repair is because it’s owned by a good a friend of mine and I didn’t want to make it a big deal, but in your case, I would 1st check the fuses for water, if you don’t find it, it’s going to be hard to prove it until you take it to the dealer and they tell you what it was caused by
, but I would inform the tint shop of what your plans are, **** happens and they need to understand in business you take losses sometimes..hopefully you get it sorted out. Also, not sure I would tell the dealer you think it’s water from the tint, it might give them a way out, if it’s a 2024, shoot for warranty coverage, but don’t volunteer information

Congrats on the new ride! Sounds like you've got a sweet setup with the LC500. The alarm issue you're facing could indeed be related to the weak battery. Sometimes, even with the car running, if the battery isn't fully charged, it can cause electrical glitches like this. It's worth getting the battery tested or replaced to see if that resolves the problem. If the issue persists, you might want to have a professional take a closer look to rule out any other potential causes. Hope you get it sorted soon!

Thanks my friend. I’ve got it in the dealer service garage getting it inspected now.
Just got my car back today from the dealer. I let them do their diagnostic test and they concluded that the tint shop did in fact let water run off and into the electrical components. Luckily nothing seems to be damaged and they stated that during those 3 days in service the car alarm never went off. Meaning the water must have evaporated and everything returned to normal. They waived my $290 diagnostic fee. I called the tint shop and explained to them what happened and the service rep honestly didn’t seem sorry at all and said she will notify her higher ups. No apologies ever heard…

Re the tint shop-it seems these days few are truly sorry when they screw up...pride in one's craft is a lost art.
