I've just noticed that the past few times I've gotten in my LC when cold that the steering wheel is not extending out automatically (it does move manually). Usually if I pull out of my garage, turn it off, and restart it the steering wheel extends out like normal. And it will usually work for the next few stops. My seat seems to move as expected.
***UPDATE***
So I'm pretty sure that this was caused by a low battery. I recently changed the battery and the problem seems to be gone after a few days. This makes sense because the problem was a little intermittent and was worse after sitting for a day but seemed to work if I drove somewhere and then got back in a and drove home an hour later. Maybe this will help someone.
Mine was only 4.5 years old. Your insurance wouldn't have worked. Not a big deal if you get attuned to paying attention to how your car starts. I also suspected the battery because the starts seemed just a tad weaker. I just wasn't sure it would be related to or manifest in the "easy exit" feature not working.
