Development cost vs number of cars sold says they definitely are. Development of any new car model is so expensive now days that they would have to sell ten times more LC's just to break even. That or multiply the price when numbers sold would drop to basically zero. There is no way to make money at price level plus numbers sold combination they are doing.

 

I just checked the Lexus UK website, you will not find the 2024 LC 500 for sale there. I am taking delivery of my 2024 performance package next week.

My guess is the 2024 will be sold Into 2025, as the 2023 model was sold into 2024, and then no more LC 500 or RC F. You can still get the LS 500h so maybe they will have a 2025 LC 500h
I might be wrong but it seems a likely scenario, I stand to be corrected.

 

I believe the LC is not out to make great profits. I believe it their flagship...a vision what they can produce and compete with the mega $$ cars from abroad...They are making a statement to other car builders.

 

So now that we are a bit further in the year, any rumored updates planned for 2025? I assume not since they just redid the infotainment, but about to pull the trigger on one, so figured I would ask.

 

Nothing has been confirmed yet. More than one of us check lexus.com every morning for new Press Releases for new models. Should be posted here shortly after.

The LC Five hundred is unchanged for 2025 and comes with the V-8. I have a confirmed order placed today.

I just ordered a 2025 LC500 yesterday. No significant changes from 2024 and the same V-8 engine.
