Friends,
I parted ways with my 2021 LC500 a few months ago for various reasons but all valid ones for me.
My plan is once I pay off my ES350 daily commuter, to purchase a used 2024/2025 or so model in 2-3 years.
That being said, I need some help zeroing in on what I am seeing.
I am wanting a blue convertible with a white interior. I have seen pics of Bespoke models with a white interior but it also has some bizarre (to me) orange accent panel on the door or soemthing.
Is there some other option, whether by model year or not, with a white accented interior minus this orange trim? Ill even take white and blue.
Im just trying to zero in on the trim level I am seeking so I can begin wrapping my head around what is obviously going to be a long tough search.
That white and blue interior with orange accents you see is only in a limited edition LC when they first introduced the model , the 2024 model with white and blue interior does not have any orange accents
In usa, you can only get the blue and white interior with bespoke build I think, in Canada and I think some other countries you don’t have to go bespoke build to get the blue and white interior, but only with the usb2.0, white, or black exterior paints.
2. A 2024 LC500 Convertible, bespoke edition with blue soft top and white interior. "Bespoke" means you go to a Lexus dealer, sit down with a salesperson and work through the available product codes to build a car specific to you. Most dealerships have never done this process and just want to ask your wife what color RX she wants to buy. It will take some work to find a dealer who will work with you on this (mine comes next month). So you go in, sit down, pick your option codes, the dealer puts them in the computer then the computer kicks them back a few times until finally accepting the order. My process took about 2 hours back in June, the car is coming the 3rd week of October.
Understand the difference between "bespoke" and "allocation": for bespoke cars, an owner goes to the dealership and orders it like I did. 99.9% of what Lexus sells is by "allocation". Meaning that Lexus decides how many LC500's to build this year, and then of those how many of each color, and then how many of each interior color etc etc. So there's a good chance that Lexus builds a few with this blue top and white interior as "allocation" cars that they send to dealerships, but the best shot you have at getting one is ordering a bespoke one this year.
There's no way to know if Lexus will offer that same color scheme option next year. Also, figure the LC500 has at least ~3 years left because of the 2024 navi redesign.
Best of luck getting the car you want! Just an FYI, of all LC500's currently for sale in the US (212 via CarGurus), just 7 are blue. Just 3 of those are the 2021 Inspiration Edition Structural Blue with white interior. Expect the prices of those to come down a bit considering you can copy that build with option #2 above. In fact, if you were in the market right now I'd tell you to buy this one as that's the best '21 Inspiration Edition price I've seen in two years.

Funny how the ad says it has the Toasted Caramel interior but the pics clearly show it’s the Toasted Marshmallow
I guess that’s a great deal considering this one is priced at $159,900: 2021 Inspiration Vert
But I’d recommend this new 2024 Ultrasonic Blue Vert with White interior instead for $121K as I’m not a big fan of the white steering wheel in the Inspiration Series - this one has a black steering wheel: 2024 Ultrasonic Blue Vert w/ White interior

That MY2024 has wheels from an Inspiration series or is a Bespoke build Also it has the new Michelin PS5S tires. I can find no RFT markings on the pict at the dealer's website. Can any 2024 owners check their tires to see if they are still RFTs. I've asked this question before with no response.

I think my 2024 have the same tires, this is a picture of my front tire …
^^^^Yep, seems to be a change Thanks for posting. I could find no mention of tires in the MY24 American Brochure. Last years brochure however did mention RFTs
From MY 23 Brochure:

Now another question, did they put any tools or a kit in your trunk to handle a flat❓
How interesting. I think this will be a nice can of worms.
I'm sure many will be happy to see Real Tires on the LC.
It sure doesn't look like a very smart decision on Lexus part to me.
What Kind of repair kit? A can of fix a flat isn't gonna cut it. I don't think the average LC driver wants to crawl in under their LC with a reamer tool and stringy plugs. Tire techs are really not going to be happy cleaning out the fix a flat before a new tire install.
Does this signal Michelin and Bridgestone cutting back on what are probably very low sales numbers of LC run flats?
