Hey all, please don’t vote yet. I can’t edit the poll and I’m missing some colors like Iridium silver which was the ‘22 Inspiration Series. If you see any others missing please post them here along with the years they were available. Once I’m confident that I have ALL the colors I’ll redo the poll and ask the mods to delete this one, thanks!

That is precisely why I created two separate polls .One for “What color is your LC?” to help us get a somewhat better understanding of how many of each color is floating around out there since apparently Lexus doesn’t share that info. The second for “What is your favorite LC color?” so we can find out which colors folks like the best (owners and non-owners). And as you pointed out - we don’t always buy our favorite color for a particular car - could be that our favorite color is hard to come by so we settle for our second or third choice, or perhaps we decide to buy a more conservative color
so as not to stand out at the office, etc, even though we’d rather have Orange.

However, it was determined to merge my ”What’s your Favorite LC color?” thread with another old poll thread from 2020 that talked about colors but which only had three choices to vote for: Atomic, Infrared, and Smoky Granite. That poll was of course useless information for anyone who likes more than just those 3 colors, LOL - hence my creation of a comprehensive poll attempting to cover all colors from 2018-2024 as that would actually be useful information. By merging it with the old one, the results are heavily skewed in favor of Atomic, Infrared, and Smoky Granite since those were the only choices offered in the original poll from 2020.

 

With 31 votes so far, the Top 3 are currently:

-1 Flare Yellow with 6 votes
-2 Infrared with 5 votes
-3 (Tie) Atomic Silver with 4 votes
-3 (Tie) Ultra White with 4 votes

I’m rather surprised to see that Flare Yellow is the #1 color owned by forum members so far given it appears to be less than 1% of overall LC sales. I can only assume that folks who buy Flare Yellow are perhaps more likely to be an enthusiast and enthusiasts are perhaps more likely to participate on forums?

That’s cool to see a few Flare Yellow owners. It’s so rare. I’d consider that color if I were buying an LC. ]

Was able to pose my Flare Yellow with what I’m guessing may be the rarest color Cadmium Orange, which, along with Autumn Shimmer, currently has ZERO votes in this scientific poll It was overcast when I took this pic so it would probably pop more in the sunshine.

 

It doesn't help that most LC500 sent to dealers are ordered in UltraWhite or Caviar. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1519444085
There are more Cadmium Orange sold for MY23 and MY24 than Flare Yellow (looking at Coupes only) and an equal number of Copper Crest sold (with more on their way to dealers).
Question is will these new owners make an account and introduce themselves and voter for science.
