Was at dealer today and I asked them when 2025 production would start. They said September for November deliveries. Not sure if what they read that from was placeholder information or firm plans.

Lexus is being tight lipped even to the regional reps and if I remember correctly they gave the same timeframe last year until the early announcement on 5/17.
Well, everyone's right that the MY2024 LC was introduced on 5/7/2023, But if one goes back and looks at the introduction of the MY2022 and MY2023, you'll find something different. MY2022 was introduced on 10/29/21 and MY2023 was introduced on 10/5/22. So, Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of Lexus - The Shadow Knows
So they killed the LC in europe and GB, that leaves north america and asia. Im pretty sure it doesnt move much in asia either so i give it 1-2 more years before its all done.
Then prepare to have wacko's knocking at your door trying to ****** the LC's as soon as they finish production.
The ‘24’s were announced last year on May 17th so as I mentioned earlier, if last year’s any indication we’ll know soon enough.

last year's 'announcement' date is meaningless because the '24 has the changes we all know about so lexus was ready to produce them so announced it.
other year 'announcements' have typically been september or thereabouts.

I'm not sure I quite agree with your logic here as they were saying the same misleading stuff prior to 5/17, but like I've said before - we'll soon find out if anything is announced in late May as it's right around the corner. I also think it will have something to do with how many 24's are still sitting at dealers and at this point nationwide there's plenty.
I just hope for 25 they offer a classic silver like Liquid Platinum or Iridium.
Interestingly BMW has already been producing '25 M850's/M8's since March, with deliveries due this month.

The 2024 LC500 model announcement time is unusual since it is an early model year release of a mid-cycle refresh, the situation is not the same this year for a 2025 model.

Mid-cycle from MY 18 to 24? That implies this current series has 6 more years to go?

not sure if it’s exactly “mid-cycle”, but the refresh last year is not really expected by most, and it would be unlikely for them to refresh if they planned to end the model soon, of course it is always up to them if there is change of plan, etc.

Most likely 26 will be the last of current series…they had to do something ala the much needed tech update to keep it alive/sellable. Thankfully the new Toyota ceo is a fan…get ‘em while you can folks.
I hope they keep it going and continue to add more stuff to the car. I hope we get a good 9 to 10 years out of it like the SC’s unless they release an actual successor prior to that.
like my 17 Porsche Carrera S twin turbo,,,lots of power but 3 water pumps( warranty) in 50K,,,,,sold and Im a LC man from now on....471 is enuff for me..
