Default LC500H - differential / gear issue?

Hi all,

First time poster - recently acquired a LC500H 2018 model and now that I am familiarizing myself with the car noticed that when launch it (S+ mode, traction control off, auto) its pretty sluggish to 100km (around 6.2sec) nowhere near the claimed 5sec

have tried a fair few times and then noticed in these 2 youtube videos that these LC500Hs when launching - the gear changes / rev limiter bounces between 6,600 rpm and 6,000 rpm but mine always appears to change from 6,600 rpm to 5,500 rpm consistently - so i guess my question is why does my LC500h rev limiter bounce between 6.6k and 5.5k where standard/stock appears to do it between 6.6k to 6.0k,
I'm almost certain this is attributing to the 6+ sec 0-100 time (also note conditions are fine, dry road, warm tyres, 1/4 fuel tank etc)

hopefully I explained this issue okay? would getting the ECU remapped / flashed fix it ?

appreciate any advice

thanks
Tony

yep and despite my best efforts shifting as fast as I can between that rev range still cant achieve it
i know its not a major issue but thinking maybe an ECU reset would fix it? not even sure the dealership would / can do this?

Not sure if this is possible on the LC but on other cars, one can change the setting for what the rev limiter is. Perhaps that setting has been changed. That said, I'm not an expert on the hybrid
