Wheels are such an individual preference, but these, c'mon man.
When my run-flat tires wear out, I'm considering some wider wheels of the 5-spoke variety, e.g., HF-1s, and will pass on the run-flats.
I agree mostly with the caveat that the 24 petal wheels look much better in person and on certain colors. They don't photo well at all IMO.

I have seen them on a Caviar coupe just last week. They stuck with me, so when I saw this thread, I chimed in, but wheels are an individual taste.

Truth. I’m old enough to remember these things selling well. (About when the VW Beetle came back, and cutesie was a thing on cars.)
