My 2019 LC (5,900 miles) has this creaking noise on the glovebox area (both the stitched leather part and the top piece that connects to the glass). My video will show the noise, but it's not just when pressing it. It makes this noise when I drive over flexes or bumps in the road. Anyone else have this? I scheduled a service appointment to have it checked out but a little nervous they will tell me it's normal/no solution for it, and also a little nervous they will have to take things apart and cause more issues. Thoughts or recommendations are appreciated!

 

not normal, but i had a similar issue albeit not as bad. Its really quite easy, they will just take that leather piece off and add some cushioning foam to where the metal touches the plastic tabs. If youre no longer under warranty, you can even do it yourself. You just grab that leather piece and pull it off, it'll come off quite easily
