Default Iridium Vs. Liquid Platinum?

Are these 2 colors offered by Lexus the same? They look identical in pics. I honestly can't see any difference between the two.

Have you seen them both in person? If so what differentiates the 2 colors from each other?

Default Iridium

It doesn't look like Iridium will be offered in the US. However, it will be in Canada and Europe MY 24. Iridium is a more metallic silver color, but the liquid platinum is a darker Grey silver.

I think it's time for a new option in silver vs atomic to something more classic, either LP or IS would be great.

For a selected few in US/Canada, you could have gotten Iridium on the LC500 via the MY2022 Inspiration Series: https://pressroom.lexus.com/2022-lex...ax-and-unwind/

Since I'm the original thread starter, I'll chime in. I now own an Iridium LC500. Great color that has a hint of light blue to it. Really shows off the angles and curves of the car well.

This color looks sweet, was it ever available on the LC? My guess iridium is quite close.

I had a '06 Glacier Frost Mica IS350, imo, looks nothing like any silver in Lexus lineup...closer to pearl white.
