2024 model new infotainment screen, color options …..
If there was a corporate mandate to switch all production Lexus vehicles to the touch screen due to supply chain and manufacturing efficiencies across multiple models and a limited budget was provided to the design teams, this is what you get. The touchpad design we've all grown to love(?) could be facing component obsolescence and software support issues. Certainly it's been slammed as the biggest negative of the overall LC package by the automotive community.
i just dont know why they couldnt keep the L L L L motif on the right side of that dash, or the analogue clock. The tablet design is so disjointed, it looks like an afterthought
The passenger side of that dash is super boring looking now. Not inspired at all. No inspiration edition will fix that blandness

Just ran to the store in the LC.
Came back, sat in the garage and looked at my '18 dash for awhile.
It's so damn sad.
I REALLY wanted to get a much fresher LC w red non Alcantara before they stopped making the V8s.
I just Really don't think I can do it. Not past a 23 anyway.
Like most, the track pad grew on me. To me, it ended up being about 5% of the problem all the non owner weenies complained about. All the whiners and Me frankly, Overlooked the misstep of complaining about the track pad that the iPud dash makes crystal clear. You might complain about the Functionality of the track pad but As Things Were, there really wasn't a better choice.
There Really Was Just Not Room on The Same Dash to make a Good touch screen one.
I think every time I got in and saw the iPud dash I'd just start the car All PO'd. I swear I can hear Japanese whispers We'll teach them to complain about the track pad.

2024 Convertible in UltraSonic Blue 2.0 with the new rims.
Love the color and rims, just not a fan of the new info screen sticking out and the missing analog clock. A trade off for the 360 camera and to get rid of the touch-pad.

I'm not sure if it's the screen as much as that giant blank space next to it that bothers me more. There are definitely cars where the screen looks way worse. Like it's just screwed onto the top of the dash. At least this one lays lower and looks somewhat integrated.
I really want to see one in person before I make up my mind how bad it really is. The old dash is clearly better designed. But this new one isn't the worst thing that it could be.
