Default ****The Official FML Thread****

I haven't seen a thread like this one so I thought I'd start one. After a serious of unfortunate events this week I thought I'd share with you guys what kind of hell my IS250 has been through. 2 weeks ago some goons egged my car with about a dozen eggs. 5 days ago my wife closes the garage door on the bumper of the IS250 and 3 days ago this "mysterious" bumper mark appeard on the back of my 06 SGM IS250! Oh and ofcourse it sprinkled the night after I washed my car so its a bit dusty. FML!! Pictures will be up when I get home. Share your horror here with me! On the bright side, my trunk and roof spoiler will be here Friday! Photos taken with my Cannon Rebel EOS T3i I coulda bought an F-Sport exhaust with the money spent on this camera.. Im no pro though.

About another 6 more but I got tired its all about the same though...

Garage door pwnage. Atleast it retracted and didn't take the whole bumper...

Mysterious bumper rub...

If picks look ugly I'll retake em after I wash the car on Friday.

I washed my car today and it started raining, I ran out to move it but the steering column locked and I couldnt turn my key. My car got soaked and my tire shine was ruined so now I have to rewash the car. I made a thread

Well I will share my last week or so....... I purchased my 2006 IS350 saturday before last (was a 3hr trip one way) I only stopped once on the way home at a Chipotle to eat! Got home and saw a "mark" in rear bumper that wasnt there before, so I assume someone backed into it in the parking lot while I ate...............Then on Friday on the way to work a lady stops at a yield sign and I ran into the back of her causing nearly $5000 in damage to my car and getting a following to close ticket! ALL WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK!!!!

FML!!!!

Bought my car a week ago. drove to work and back no problem. Finally get to go out with friends on a Saturday night and BOOM, passenger factory HID light is out. Lexus techs and I BOTH missed it. Have to drop it back off at dealership in the first 10 days...

Notice the driver side headlight is on.

Pics should be included with all posts..... resized pics that is...

Bought my 2010 brand new, 30 miles on it. A couple weeks later, no more than 500 total miles, I was driving home one day around midnight, about 15 seconds from my house and I heard a hollow *dink* on the driver side door.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" I must have hit a rock... "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!" I knew the damage had to be bad.

Judging from the angle and perfect roundness of the dent, it had to have been from a bb gun. Went through the paint and primer.

After months of searching, I finally got my hands on a brand new, authentic Fabulous front lip. I had it sprayed and on the way back from the paint shop to where I was going to get it clearbra'ed, I got a number of rock chips.

I didn't want to clearbra the lip with rock chips on it, so I had it resprayed. This time, I didn't install the lip on my car, and waited over a month for the paint to fully cure in prep for a clearbra.

A week before my clearbra appointment, I went to a Club Lexus car show but kept the lip inside my car (not installed obviously) so it wouldn't get damaged en route, and then put it on my car while it was parked. I had to move my car about 500 feet, and in doing so I scraped it on a driveway.

It's getting sprayed for a third time.

There was bird droppings on the car. Unfortunately the cloth I used to wipe it off was not as clean or wet as I thought so I ended up scratching the car. At least I didn't drag the cloth any farther than I already did. Could've been worse...
