Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead. I'm having some problems removing the grille. I've removed all the bolts and now I need to disengage the claws. How do I do that? The ones from the bottom are not visible so how do I disengage those ones? The grille won't budge.

I had the same problem when I pulled my grille last week. I ended up taking the bumper off ( Which takes 10 minutes and is quite easy ) Then you can see all the claws.

^ I was hoping I didn't need to take the bumper off. Is there a DIY?

Remove left Oxygen Sensor1 bank1 (next to battery).
Which way is best (e.g. easier or faster) without removing too many parts.

The easiest way I found was just taking off the bumper. Next time I do it I'll make a DIY.
If you have a 10mm wrench or socket and a phillips screwdriver you can take off the bumper. I'm sure there is a DIY for that somewhere. After that, taking the grille and grille surround apart is pretty simple.

Yeah I figured if you an see what you're doing it's much easier

I have all the tools but really don't want to attempt to take the bumper off...I think it will be putting it back on that troubles me, I always get stuck on those steps
