Sex comes in black..
actually know. with the shape of the main grill on the 350, painting the chrome trim to match your color and removing the fins would look good on all color 2IS's. you just have to wait for a fin-less and/or mesh backed grill to show off just the L logo and you'll have a mean looking car. just imagine this but color swatched.

Just so you know, the fogs may cause some problems. In the headlights, the chrome area is plastic which adheres to paint easier. On the fogs however, the chrome is actually metal which doesn't adhere good to paint no matter how much you sand and primer. It might peel if not done right, I'm afraid mine will peel but it should be okay because it doesn't come to contact with anything. Also, a rock chip on your grill might peel the paint as well just because that's how chrome is, doesn't like anything on top of it. But, it might not, good luck with it for sure!
Looks awesome too, me and you, team de-chrome, haha!

I'm planning on sticking on a layer of clear film just to protect the grille..

but it seems like it wouldn't be TOO hard to DIY... hm...

Very easy to take it out.
0. Forgot to mention.. yank out the weatherstripping
1. Remove 10mm bolt with wrench
2. Pop out the 4 clips with flathead screwdriver
3. Pull out the bezel (the outer chrome trim)
Unfortunately front plates are required by law where I live... so that has to stay

looks like the chrome grille frame is repainted, i prefer the finned grille look vs the finless, dont want stuff flying in there
