Default Poll: TPMS Sensor or Pipe Bomb?

Well I'm in the market right now looking for a new set of wheels and the only concern is TPMS sensors. Like everyone know I could either build a pipe bomb or buy a new set of TPMS sensors, reprogram and install. Please keep in mind that I want to switch off to my oem wheel sometime and still want to be able to use it without the tire sensor alarm go off. What do you guys do, new set of sensors or a pipe bomb? Thanks

Without a doubt, TPMS sensors. Switching wheels/reprogramming from time to time is a small price to pay for your safety. I'm assuming you only plan to switch wheels during winter season only.

Cause it will be crazy (tough to justify) if you live in sunny California to switch aftermarket wheels to OEM.

O I commute a lot say 400miles a week so I don't want anything to happen to them.

I will go with TPMS too, but have been struggling on where and how to get them reprogrammed with a reasonable fraction of cost in Bay Area before I commit to purchase a new set of wheels

TPMS is the only way to go in sunny parts of CA in my opinion. I have 19's with no intention of going back to OEM wheels until I'm ready to sell car. All the good and experienced wheel/tire/suspension shops routinely deal with TPMS, no problem.

TPMS hands down
you can GET AWAY with the PIPE BOMB, but that BOMB won't tell you if a nail get in to your tires
spend extra money and get the TPMS..you won't be sorry later
