I know it is supposed to be 21/29 but a lot of people have been talking about getting 11-14 MPG. Was wondering if those with the IS 350 can comment on what they are getting. It seems as most are in the break in period so there shouldn't be too many people getting to WOT just yet, so these numbers seem low.

How hard are you driving it? Mostly city or hwy?

 

Damn, thats crazy. Are you sure that is average and not instantaneous. Are you pushing it hard?? I know with that power its hard to resist.

 

well when i first checked it out it was on 11 mpg. I dont drive it hard but I did buy the car with 191 miles on the clock. so yea right now Im driving it like an old lady. I mix between highway and local drving.

 

i'm lucky? .. my first day read 20.5 avg on city streets.

 

It gets about the same mileage as our GS300 AWD, and I can get that up to about 23-24ish combined, but mostly city driving.

 

you should have it reset when you started driving the car... since who knows what was done those first miles (lots of idle running, acceleration tests, etc)...

 

how do you reset it?

 

Hold the "DISP" button down on the steering wheel. It should clear it out.

I got 21mpg average on my first tank in the 350. I drive freeway and city about 50/50.

 

IS350 LT

26.2 cruising at 80-85 on PA turnpike. 22 around town.

 

Ahhh...I see you picked yours up already!! Thats pretty decent mileage. How are you liking it??

Waiting for the ride in the IS around the Philly area.

 

Picked it up on the 15th and have been lov'n every moment of it. Not one complaint with the car thus far. The only problem I have is that I get stressed out driving it to places where I could get dinged, like work, shopping and the list goes on.
