Exclamation Electrical HELP!!! (Windows won't roll up after battery disconnect)

Alright,
So I installed the JoeZ intake, sounds good looks great.
The only problem now is the first step in installing the intake, the instructions tell you to unplug the negative terminal from the battery. So I do so which resets the ECU.
After the install everything seems to be working fine except one thing.
I can't control the windows on the driver side, when trying to roll down the passenger and rear windows. Its really weird, I dont know if unplugging the terminal has something to do with it or what.
So if anyone has suggestions or know what to do let me know ASAP!!!

thanks

Wink

Step 1 .... get up from computer and go out to your car
Step 2 .... open glovebox, remove manual
Step 3 .... read your manual !!!!! It's all in there.

roll down the windows all the way and then roll the windows all the way up on each side. (use the switch for each passenger and driver) or did you mean the windows dont work at all?

show some love. the guy needs help. but this is the best help/advise so far.
Besides if he's been reading the threads he'll know that the ecu will reset when the battery is disconnected.

Ok, I feel bad. So I went out to the garage and got my manual out. Extra help -----> It's in section 1-4 in the 2006 Owner's Manual, page 46 ("When the battery is disconnected"). The OP can take it from there. It's not that difficult.

Roll each windows down fully and roll them back up. But do not use the automatic down or up. Once you do all 4, they will work.

To OP:

If you did this the right way, the lights on the window switches will stop blinking.

Default Power window help please..

Ok took off front door covers... adding new speakers.. When i plugged back everything the driver side window control only worked for the driver.. Played with it a bit and it worked again.. I am doing allot of work on the doors so i keep adding or takeing off the window control.. Its a big project anyway.. Long story short every time I unplug the controls it screws up the drivers window control some times some of them work some times front some times back.. Once i get all to work (who knows how) no issues until i unplug again. This the computers sensors or something .. any one herd of this or know what i can do ..

Yep, it's normal, you just have to keep 'fixing it' everytime you do this.
