Oil change stuff...
Would showing them receipts for oil and filters suffice? Could a dealer deny warrantee coverage because you changed your own oil?

You are responsible for performance of the required maintenance indicated in the Owners Manual and this supplement. Lexus will not deny a warranty claim solely because you do not have records to show that you maintained your vehicle. However, any failure or noncompliance caused by lack of maintenance is not covered by this warranty.
When maintenance and repairs are paid for by you, then services may be performed by you or by any automotive service provider you choose. Lexus will not deny a warranty claim solely because you use a service provider other than a Lexus dealership for maintenance and repairs.
Check the manual or ask the dealer, also they have 10% off coupons that you can print online for oil changes.
Hope this helps.
I think its dealer specific @ 5K intervals.

The oil is expensive, Valvoline syntec $4.67 a quart, you need 6.6 quarts.
Canister type, what is old is new again. Very nice, 2750 miles, drains real easy, no mess, nothing in the way. sent a sample off to get analyzed. If its this easy, I might keep it on a < 4k OCS.
Keep all reciepts Boys & Girls.
Got some crazy letter the other day from my dealer. Please bring the car in for a 4 month 4k mile check up. I don't think so. I'll take them up on the complementary change at 5k or so.
Its doing just fine thank you very much

Kinda glad I don't have to rotate the tires

.d The OSHA inspector would freak. What about some nice ramps??
Solid, long, lay flat on the ground, car rolls easily up on them. Car is in park. I'm not removing the transmission or wrenching hard on it.
It ain't going anywhere. No jack anywhere in the area for the Osha cronies.
What do you call nice ramps? plastic ones that my neighbor used to drive over the end because they're so steep, or the metal ones that slide on concrete or drive themselves into the ground? Thats OK. I 'll keep my flat ones that are about five feet long and are about 15 years old. But I really do appreciate the concern.
What color was your IS 350?
