I am dropping my car off tomorrow night to get the first oil change & personalized settings done on Thursday, they are giving me a loaner too.

I did all the oil changes on my EVO, but I will not be doing them on the Lexus. I just cannot be bothered. Jacking the car up, getting dirty, etc. Id really rather pay $50-60 every 6 months to have it done.

Based on what? I've had 8 Honda / Acuras, and they had different OCI's based on normal / extreme driving conditions.

Yeah,I was thinking about doing the same thing.
Then I thought about possible door dings, grease and fingerprints in and out.
I tell my service advisor NO CAR WASH!
I use Amsoil and do a change once a year.

I guess I have great luck because my Lexus dealer charges $56 for an oil change.

just say you want the oil change and have them do only that. they will offer the packages but pass on them and just get what you need at this point.
