Default Five Axis Project ISF Revving - 5.8L V8

Here's video taken of the Five Axis Project ISF @ SF Wek'fest a couple weeks back. Lexus Corp. Video was taken by JavyLSU. I am in the driver's seat revving the car and rolling it out back to the Toyota Transporter outside.

Here's the aftermath thread of SF Wek'fest in NorCal section: Aftermath: WEK-FEST 2010 Japan Town Gathering

Here's my photo gallery of the weekend trip to San Francisco: SoCal Friday Night Meet Crew visits the Bay...

Project IS F by Five Axis

Description:
Following its stunning debut in 2007, the Five Axis Project IS F went back to the shop for another makeover, this time in the engine compartment. With 416 hp on tap right out of the box, the standard IS F is no slouch. But the Project IS F concept brief included exploring the performance potential of its direct-injected 5.0-liter V8, so it now sports 5.8 liters while receiving ported and flowed cylinder heads, a new exhaust system and changes to the electronic controls. The upshot is enough power and torque to put an evil grin on even the most jaded enthusiast’s face.

Highlights:

Engine
  • Bored to 100 mm and stroked to 91.5 mm to yield 5.8 liters
  • Forged JE Pistons

Wow!!! That thing sounds like pure death...awesome.

On a side note, I was looking into the 5 axis wheels. I know you have them JoeZ. You have one of the forged rim styles in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 right? What are the weight of your wheels if you don't mind me asking? TIA.

The car is 416hp stock. No way it's going to be bored almost a liter, modded (including raised compression) and still have the same hp as stock.

+1.

C'mon 5 axis, run us some numbers. I'm guessing that it's on the better side of 550hp.

Lightbulb

I don't think the Engine has received any more work from just before SEMA 2008.

From my in depth conversations with Troy, the enigine has been nicley upgraded... BUT there is/was NO TUNNING option that he was happy with yet...

Below are some older post of mine with some more videos you will all LOVE!!!
