On a side note, I was looking into the 5 axis wheels. I know you have them JoeZ. You have one of the forged rim styles in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 right? What are the weight of your wheels if you don't mind me asking? TIA.
Yes that parking garage really makes it sound deadly!!!!

The wheels I have are cast.. not forged..

They have the following specs..

Five:AD Wheel
Model S5:F in GunMetal

19x8.5" +30mm Front
19x9.5" +35mm Rear

Approx Weights are found here: (I can't see the pics from work right now)
&
I don't recall on the OEM BBS wheel weights right now either...

The sculpture on the Five Axis F doesn't do it for me, but I'm down with 5.8L. :-D

Not a criticism; if nothing at all, the car says look at me. Sumitomo-san and his crew are a serious bunch!

Both the body and the engine sound are pure eeeeevil (I mean that in the good way). Saw the car at Wek Fest and loved the body along with the silver one, but didn't know at the time that the engine was modified. Drooling!

Interested to know why Lexus doesn't want forced induction.

Know of any plans for Sema 2010?

For their current cars, aftermarket F/I is not suitable because the factory Toyota/Lexus ECM cannot be cracked by ANY aftermarket manufacturer. There are some that have added boost but no one has been able to make a safe, reliable and smog legal kit. Lexus engines are engineered and maximized for performance and efficiency. Adding an F/I kit and putting a piggyback ecu and calling it a day doesn't work.

SEMA this year will possibly be focused on hybrids. The last 3 years have been:

SEMA 2007: ISF & F-Sport
SEMA 2008: IS & GS F-Sport, ISF
SEMA 2009: ISC, F-Sport and LFA

It actually is around the 500 mark. It was originally 416 HP before SEMA 2008 when it was first unveiled at SEMA 2007, Lexus' first showing in Las Vegas.

Here is a little history on the cars and the work. This upgrade was stage 2 and all the work was done in house at Motorsports Garage (Toyota Motorsports).

As a matter of fact, the engine from this Starfire ISF below was the first of 3 ISF's ever driven on US Soil back in August 2007. These 3 ISF's were air freighted from Japan the night before just in time for the preview event at Laguna Seca:

Here is the exact same ISF about a year later June 2008 (Toyota Motorsports), being worked on for the SEMA 2008 project ISF.

More info and history to come...

A very well executed design by Troy for sure. His stuff always looks very clean...even if it does not suit your style. There are very few SEMA vehicles that are as nicely done...except perhaps the ring bros rigs.
