Do any of you know the mods on the car? The tune? The support mods? Oil? Fuel? Use? Etc
I think it's safe to say that we should probably look at upgraded valvetrain soon if we want to shoot for the moon.

As for the Loi Tune, it's not possible to get just the TCU portion done when the entire tune needs to be done together.
Just get Tuned by Loi, no pun intended.
It's also obvious from Positron's dyno there's nothing to be gained up top with the OEM cams over 7200 rpm. Power curves down right at 7200. With bigger/longer duration cams, we'd see a continued rise in power. Port work might also be needed to take advantage of bigger bump sticks (well, that's pretty normal anyway). The big plus is, your shift points can be higher and you'll still be at full power after the shift, which is pretty ideal in some ways. The obvious downside is more rapid ring and piston wear with potential valve float on an interference engine.

Bringing this up for those with 6800rpm+ limit removed did it help with keeping the car torque converter locked? i believe an issue some had was when switching gears the torque converter would not stay locked.

I have a tune from Loi with a 7300 rpm rev limit. It shifts at 7200 reliably in D (as we agreed) with the converter locked. If you raise the redline, your tuner will need to make adjustments to make the transmission hold in gear to redline.

When I spoke to Loi a year ago about a tune for my '08, he stated that I needed a '10+ TCU. Did you install a 10+ TCU in your '08?

No, I did not. I still have my '08 ECM that allows left foot braking.
