Lobux always dropping some major knowledge!!!

I was running 255/285... big difference in feel and traction compared to the OE tire size. You'll like this set up!

I ran 255/35 & 285/30s PSS on my 2012 at stock height no issues w/ rubbing.

You already have this in your 2013, so that part is done. This setup does not feel floaty, and turn in is more crisp than the OE sizes. I run PS A/S3+ in the winter in stock sizes on my 2008 wheels, so I have a pretty direct comparison twice a year. The car unquestionably brakes better with 255s in front and the difference is substantial.
I'm trying to figure out what tires to go with right now. Currently I have the Firehawk Indy 500's but got a nail near the sidewall that requires replacement of the tire. I put these tires on 12k miles ago and unfortunately the tires are at 4/32 worth of tread which would require me to replace both rear tires to avoid damage to the LSD. I didn't anticipate these tires to wear this quickly as a daily driver so I'm considering other options.

I'm in North Alabama and have been looking at the PS4S and the PS A/S4. Having had both and living in a similar region, which would you recommend if you had to choose one?

My preference would be to switch to a squared setup all the way around so I could rotate my tires, but I'm not willing to spend $5k on wheels and tires right now.

I'm running Continental DWS 06s for winter on '08 wheels and PS4S on '14 wheels in summer in the sizes you quoted (well, there's no 275/39, but I've run 275/30 and 275/35 in the rear with 255/35 in the front). I transition when overnight temps are 45F or less. If you are only going to run one tire all year, I'd recommend the all season tires. I had some trouble with the A/S3+ so I went with the Continentals and I am not disappointed. The wife's GS F runs the Conti's all year and truth be told, you're not going to find many opportunities to exploit the performance of the summer tires over the all seasons while driving on the street. If I could only have one, I'd go all season for sure.

I had the PS4S for a few months when I purchased mine in September, then switched to PS A/S4 in November and was very impressed with how well they perform. Both tires are excellent but I prefer to have the all season tire for convenience and comfort. I'm not racing or taking it to a track and don't plan to have multiple wheels.

Conti DWS06 is another equally great option but I prefer the Michelin aesthetic.

Thank you both for the input, it is very much appreciated! My current sizes are 255/35 and 285/30s on stock 2012 wheels. The hardest I've pushed the car since I've had these Indy 500's was when I went to Tail of the Dragon a little while back and their performance was outstanding (based off little previous experience). As long as I can comfortably throw an all season, whether it be the Conti DWS06 or the Michelin PS AS4, on the car and be able to occasionally handle the once every other month spirited mountain drive, as well as cooler weather and we roads, I'll be a happy camper.

Now to determine if I leave the Indy 500's with 8/32 of tread (new being 10/32) on the front, or if I pull those off, sell them and put the all seasons on all 4 corners. OR just replace the rears for now, save up for the Apex wheel's I've been eyeing, and finally set myself up with a nice squared setup towards the end of the year...

Totally bummed that I'm already having to replace these Firestones not even 8 months/12k miles later. Slight oversite on my end not ever having owned a 4-500hp vehicle I suppose.

I would advise to never mix different category tires if you care at all about how your car handles, nevermind safety. Especially stiff summer Indy 500 in front and mushy DWS rear. That combo would exhibit deplorable handling characteristics. If I were you I'd replace the rear with Indy 500 or all 4 with whatever tire you like.
