Hello again CL fam. Need your opinion if the USRS high strength thrust washer is needed. So, I purchased the USRS over a year ago. Since then, I’ve lost one of the high strength thrust washers while I shifted/transported parts from my storage locker to my home garage.
Do I need it or not? Can I run them without it? I figured the oem LCA didn’t have washers and correct me if I’m wrong, figs doesn’t come with big washers either.
Attached is a picture of the washer I’m missing (circled in black).
IMO, the Figs bushings are conical shaped at the ends, this helps spread the force out under load. The RR bushing uses the washer to achieve a similar result. Why not hit up RR for another washer?

^ This. Just hit them up or find/make a similar washer. I’m sure they can get you one.
I ordered a set from RR but they sent the wrong ones. I have the correct ones coming in the mail as we speak. I was just wondering if it was really needed. I guess the bottom line is, the wouldn’t have made it if it didn’t need it. Dumb question lol

I beg to differ. The only dumb question is the question not asked. It's part of how we learn.
