Will be getting the FIGS OSG kit installed in 3 weeks. I want to have the bearings replaced as well but can anyone comment if there's any reason not to replace the bearings other than to save a few bucks? Also, do I need new snap rings with new bearings or can I reuse the original ones?

I reused everything but the seals. It's been working fine for quite a while now.

It's good to know that is the case, however if I do opt to replace the bearings or if they get damaged upon removal, then I need to know if I can reuse the snap rings with new bearings.

The only reason you'd need new snap rings is if they're damaged during removal or if you need thicker/thinner ones to get gear engagement to specs.
