Hi people,

I've just gotten Vland headlights for my 2008 ISF. However, due to the way the DRLs are setup from stock, the car's innermost lights (which also act as high beams) flicker constantly when activated during the daytime (they do not flicker when low/high beams are active). Since my car is a Canadian model, dealers have told me that they cannot use Techstream to disable the DRLs to solve this problem, because apparently on Canadian model cars, no option even exists in Techstream to disable the DRLs.

So, I'm pretty stumped. Are there any solutions for this? Do any LED decoders work in the Vland harness? Or will I have to just drive in low beams all the time?

Ask that question on 2IS forum. Plenty of guys run Vlands, they'll be able to help you.

That's weird that Techstream wouldn't be able to disable the DRLs, don't know why it would be different in Canada?? But like others have said you have to disable the DRLs to get rid of the flicker......let us know if you figure it out.

^^^^Because in Canada DRLs are required by law. Disabling them is illegal.

Ahhh...didn't know that....makes sense now. OP you'll have to be creative to disable them then.

And also not an option to change or modify in Techstream for Canada spec.
