Lexus ISF maximum power????
Hello fellaz... I’m planning on buying a Lexus ISF soon... However I’ll be building it into a BMW killer, Ik it might sound preposterous but with less weight and more power it can be done... My question is - Is it possible to make 800hp at the crank on a ISF ? I have seen the maximum horsepower rn is 725hp and 650 at the wheels
The numbers you have seen are made with the products currently developed to offer the highest power. That’s the stage 3 RR supercharger. There is currently nothing available that makes more power. It would have to be custom to go higher, and you will be in uncharted waters. The last RR reported, the valve body on the trans needs upgraded beyond that. There is currently no upgrade available. They have a bigger blower, but you may struggle to fuel it as well beyond what they have tested.
Nobody knows the true limit of the drivetrain yet, but some guys are cracking ringlands after boost, and some are not. Some speculate it has to do with whether the engine was ran hard without an oil cooler upgrade, as these cars can really heat up the oil in stock form on a road course. That would cause the oil squirters to not cool the pistons as efficiently, causing swelling in a tight tolerance engine. Our pistons are not forged, which is a bummer and makes them a weak link.
If you want product help, RR is a good stop. I don’t know of any other company boosting this platform. Otherwise, get out your welding gear and start designing a custom kit. Let us know how it goes, and start upgrading your car with heavier duty parts.

Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?
Horsepower comes from YOUR gas tank.
Once you get into the 600+ hp range, your fuel options narrow quickly. You're not going to get 800 hp running pump gas, or even 100 octane pump gas. Compression is too high for that. You'll need alcohol of some kind to help manage detonation. This isn't a great choice for your project. The aftermarket for these cars and engines is tiny, no one races them seriously outside of Gazoo Racing, and there's just nothing available so you'll be charting your own course. Hopefully you'll also have a DD. If you don't be sure to buy some good walking shoes and credits with Uber/Lyft for when it isn't running.

Not sure of the horsepower numbers, but otherwise yes
