Not really sure how to describe it better than that. When I come to a complete stop and take off on my rear driver side I hear a ding or a ping coming from the wheel/tire area. It has been doing it for some time but does not effect the way it drives or showing any wear down on calipers. Does anyone have an idea? If I am able I will see if I can get a video of this happening later on.

Probably the axle/halfshaft nut needs to be torqued down, take a look on the forum here, some folks had this sound too...it has also been referred to as a click sound.

 

I had/have same issue - I purchased new nut and torqued it down to spec, but problem has persisted. It's been a few years now and has not gotten any worse. :/
