I have used the search function, and cannot find anything close to what is going on with my car. When closed i hear nothing which is how it is supposed to be. However, when open the sunroof deflector vibrates in the wind. If i stick my hand up and hold the deflector, the vibration goes away. Is there something that i can tighten down, or does the deflector need to be replaced.

It is in the forum somewhere, you're not alone since I read about that issue happening to other owners. Might have to look for it by doing some very careful searching through tons of threads though. Or wait for the gurus in here to chime in.

Yeah, that works for when it's closed, but when it's open adjusting the height won't make any difference at all. Neither will changing the seal. The root cause is the deflector at the front rattling at speed because it's a poor design in the 2IS. There's no real fix for this except to close the glass.

You can also spray the seal with 3M dry type silicone and kill lots of noises too. Also well documented in the 2IS forums in the 2006 timeframe.
