Default Aftermarket driver's seat no SRS codes solution

For those thinking of switching to an aftermarket driver's seat while avoiding codes, there's only two things you have to do.
1) complete the seat airbag circuit by placing a 2.2ohm, 0.5W resistor into the yellow airbag connector
2) transfer the harness from the factory seat that includes the magnetic seat position sensor and plug it into the car's harness (4 prongs in the plug).

Here's my Status Ring GTX I just installed. Status side mounts, Planted seat bracket. I drilled 4 new holes in the Planted bracket to move the seat up as I didn't want to use sliders.

Good stuff! Killer seat to. How’s it feel? Weight? Also how’s your kein trans mount treating you?

30 lbs with mounts/hardware. OEM is 60 lbs. The seat feels excellent. Daily-friendly yet aggressive enough for road course. The suede is soft and comfy too. No more knee sliding into the door

No complaints on the KEIN mount. Can't hear the transmission whirring with music playing
