Are there any other ISF owners in Austin?

If you have social media like Facebook or Instagram, Austin F's is where you want to look at. Those in the surrounding cities of Austin usually link up with those guys. The group is getting bigger everyday and we usually find each other randomly. All of them are great people too.

 

there's a few around, I'm in SW Austin. Not exactly the best time to be getting together right now....

 

I agree it’s not time to get together right now. I am new to this , just got mine right before ***** hit the fan. I have a lot of questions, a lot to learn and the worst timing.
Maybe we can get together when this blows over.

 

Resurrecting an old thread to see if anybody in the Austin area has a blue (I think 2008 or pretty close to that year) IS F. I believe it had yellow fogs. Saw it parked in my neighborhood on a different street in Round Rock near Hutto today around 11am. Second time I have seen this car in my neighborhood but I think they were visiting as I have never seen it garaged only in a driveway around lunch time twice. Anyway I drove by in my IS 500.

 

That might have been me. Which street were you on?

haha, yep. That was me. Friend of mine lives there.

I ended up backing out of my IS 500 at the last minute back in February. Too many folks loved and complimented on the F the week I was swapping, and I just couldn’t part with it. Hopefully one day I’ll own both at the same time!

I was trying for awhile to get a 2013-2014 IS F but since they were so relatively new and so few of them out they held their value too well. I really wanted Ultrasonic Blue Mica but was willing to do some other colors. So I started looking at GS F's also but when they announced the IS 500 I was sold and waited. I wanted Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 or Infrared and Infrared came in first.

 

Very cool! The previous owner of mine updated everything to the 2013-2014 model sans the wheels, seats, and LSD. And it only had 37k miles on it when I bought it in December 2021. Car had barely been driven!
