Question: What does Sport mode do?
I've read a couple of extra threads here, and people seem to be saying that Sport mode doesn't do anything. But I've also read that Sport mode increases throttle response, tightens steering (which in the case of the IS F, doesn't tighten steering, because the IS F doesn't have Variable Gear Ratio Steering, but rather increases stiffness in the wheel), and changes gears faster. Could someone clarify if Sport mode actually does these things?
When I owned my ISF (11 years) I really disliked normal mode and never used it. When I started it up my right hand went to the actuate button immediately

"In Sport mode, the VDIM system allows higher dynamic thresholds before intervening, alters steering assist to increase steering weight, and throttle response is sharpened. With the transmission in D mode, gears are held longer in response to throttle input."

I engage sport once I hit two bars of oil temp to prevent the trans holding a gear on a turn. This prevents the RPMs revving higher than I'd like on a cold engine. Once I hit two bars, bang, it's on. I don't drive it hard until I hit three bars.
