I've toyed with the idea of moving on from the '10 IS-F and into an RC-F for a while. Today was the day, I take delivery Weds.
I've enjoyed the forum but the time has come to move on
I listed my IS-F in the marketplace but I was able to get the dealer high enough on the trade to just turn it in.

Anyone interested in a solid LOW miles - 15,000mi - IS-F might want to look at the listing. The car is in great shape, no accidents and has been maintained by the clock not mileage.
I have added a post to the listing for the dealer and salesman if anyone is interested

Anyone who might be interested in a solid low miles (15K) IS-F Matador Red/Black Interior the car is at:
Hoffman Lexus East Hartford, CT

Ben Podchaiski 860-290-6114

And here's the new car

I was looking at the LC, but at least the RC had a useable trunk and back seat. We already Havre a '13 Boxster for a toy,.

Thanks, took delivery yesterday.
It is so enjoyable picking up a new car in the rain and driving home in traffic. LOL

To OP,

can you give us a review comparison of your previous ISF and RCF?

That's a worthwhile idea. So far all I've done is a big 10mi in the RC-F. LOL
And perhaps it would be better to do it in a new thread.

But so far, the biggest difference is the technology! 10yrs makes a huge difference. The computer, entertainment, and safety features alone set the RC apart from the IS-f.
The IS-F certainly SOUNDS better to a bystander, in the passenger compartment no big difference. This has me wondering if they are pumping sound into the passenger compartment as many of the car makers are doing. If anyone knows the answer please pipe in (pun intended).
Power; both cars are a delight and no shortage of power on either. The RC has launch control, which I have not yet tried and not sure where I will find a safe place to try it.
I did manage to have the RC rearend break out from under me on the way home from the dealership (it was me being a bit overexuberant), but recovery was no issue. Quick correct, snapback and on my way.

So far both cars are simply a delight to drive. Well balanced, responsive, nice handling. I can say I really like both, and would still be happy had I decided to keep the IS-F after driving the RC-F.
I'll keep you posted as I live with it.

So far, I'm loving it considering the limited time I've had it.
And unfortunately, as the temp drops and winter sets in spring can't get here fast enough!
