Thoughts on white interior?
Looking at a 14 with alpine white seats. Car is low miles so it's mint inside, but what are your thoughts about that interior choice with regards to longevity and resale value?

MY '14s are by far the rarest to come across on the market - production numbers are insanely low and its anyone's guess as to exactly how many are still on the road today. Only major differences are aesthetics: "F" logo embroidered into the headrests, alcantara added here and there in the interior, LED fog lights and OEM carbon fiber spoiler.
There were only like 121 13s and 81 14s. They are both very rare, but the 14 is rarer and the last year, which adds value. Even jeans will leach into white and tan interior. Pants can stain seats. It’s a pain, but a truly rare car.
i would have bought the 13 with black seats if all else was the same (mileage, etc.). Unless your a collector, it won’t matter. You can sell a clean 13 in a heart beat.

I have alpine with my USB. The driver's seat is probably in the worse shape of the whole interior. Its not too much of a pain to keep clean but im not an interior ****. The exterior color was the most important factor for me over interior color (since you can always change the interior color if it bothers you that much). Definitely check them all out in person before you make a final judgment.
Alpine interiors will require more care, such as regular cleaning and sealing with the correct leather products (i.e. leather masters cleaner and protection cream, for example). If you don't clean the interior frequently, have kids that trash stuff, wear dirty clothes, wear brand new selvedge/raw jeans, etc, the leather will look trashed in short order. Most people rarely clean their cars or take them to the car wash and let them use the cheapest buy in bulk type garbage on their car. This is reflected in the condition of these (mostly 2008s, seems like that combo was more popular with the earlier cars for some reason) white interior cars you tend to see for sale ... the front seats and door panels look destroyed.
If you have the discipline to properly care for your interior, jump on it. Otherwise, it's probably best to look for another color. That said, USB/Alpine is a killer combo (my first choice when i bought my car) and probably incredibly hard to find on a 2014. Heck, I spent months looking for a 2012+ car in that combination and not even ONE came up for sale, which is why i went for my 2nd choice, SFP on Red interior.
