Mine only comes out on EXTRA DRY winter days. Otherwise, it sits in the garage around 2-3 weeks at a time. 1.5 years of ownership, and only 11k miles driven since purchase.

It's been almost a month since i've pulled it into the garage when we got snow..don't plan on driving it for another month or so. I now drive that Subaru in the background and my wife drives the GX460.

This. While the withdrawal has lessened since the first Winter post purchase date (May 1st, 2014), the withdrawal is still there. Seasonal Ffective Disorder. Your symptoms will improve, but they will never go away. The dopamine damage through storage months is permanent.

I run mine a few times throughout the winter just to move it out of the garage to make room to
change oil or brakes on Something else. I have had lots of vehicles sit for a time and never had a seal go on anything. It does get fresh oil before storage and a full tank of ethanol free fuel and is always on a battery tender. These cars are more fussy about loosing battery charge than most.

Any input on a quality brand outdoor car cover? My car is in a carport, but it has cat prints on it the other day. I want a cover for it that breathes and won’t mold.

im trying to buy property and build a pole barn, but lord almighty prices are up right now.
