Default How long can you go without driving your IS-F

I'm almost at two weeks now, I've never had such bad withdrawal symptoms before

I pretty much daily drive it, but I know people who put theirs away for like 4-6 months in the winter.

Haven’t driven mine since late November. I start it weekly and miss it dearly.

5 weeks is the longest I've been without driving it. Usually 2-3 weeks in between drives. Loves it every time I pull it out the garage!

This... it’s tough. This is my first car that I truly kept off the salt. It’s more challenging than I expected.

Do you guys run it regularly during the winter to keep the seals fresh? I was told to run mine once a week. Granted I probably need to just to keep the battery charged. I run it for 30 minutes.

I used to daily mine until I shipped it over to the UK, now I only get to drive it maybe once a year for like 30 days if I'm lucky twice a year for like 40 days

It's 40 degrees right now, but last night's rain has evaporated so out we go on summer tires.

Mine has been wrapped up since late October... I refuse to expose it to NYC salty roads. It sucks seeing it each day and not being able to drive it, but in spring, it feels like getting a new car again! Worth the wait.

I feel for ya bro...
This year Seattle & vicinity has had record february snowfall and the first significant lowland snow since 2008. They didn't use much road salt here at the time and getting around was so bad the mayor lost his reelection bid because of it. Now there's lots more salt around, or there was before the rains washed it away on Saturday. Count me among those who try to avoid exposing my F to salty, icy roads.
