Squealing noise
Needing some help from my fellow F owners. For the past two weeks, I’ve been experiencing an irritating squeal coming from the tensioner area with some faint grinding noise. So about 95% of the times you can hear the squealing sounds and it doesn’t stop until the ignition is off. As for the grinding, I’ve only heard it twice and couldn’t catch it on video.
The previous owner had the water pump, tensioner and belt replaced but I don’t know the exact date.
Things that I think it could be:
Bad tensioner, bad belt, possible bad water pump. But judging by the noise my 250 and 350 made when my water pumps went bad, the grinding sounds totally different.
Any help would be great! Just FYI, I’m not really mechanically inclined lol..I learn as things need to be replaced. Sorry for the horrible video..

It’s definitely one of the pullies. I replaced my tensioner, water pump, idler pulley, etc. I first had only purchased the water pump from the dealer and went cheap on the other parts. When I saw the terrible quality and how poorly they spun I went all OEM. Just because someone replaced a part doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good thing. If they used cheap duralast/autozone parts I would prefer 100k used OEM parts. My idler pulley spun freely mean while the cheaper gates one I purchased didn’t. If you can ask the guy what parts were used also if you can take the bottom cover off and take a look up there and see if you notice anything.
usually the way i listen for those kind of noises is with a mechanics stethoscope, they are like 25 bucks for a basic one? what you do is while its running, CAREFULLY! put the stethoscope to the body of the assembly your suspecting is causing the issue. if there is a grinding noise you'll hear it like a grinding rasping noise. if a stethoscope is out of reach, can also use a long screwdriver or pry bar with metal end at the handle and put your ear to it, again be CAREFUL of moving parts.
id also check the alternator or a/c compressor.
