you can never have to many sports cars. But the F is staying long term.

Planned is to build a dedicated track car,After testing the GTR , RCF&GSF ,a Civic TypeR was chosen thats for my son, i amazed the driving dynamics of the car and put my SC ISF on the classified. Luckily no one grabbed it maybe it has alot of modz, so to treat my self i get a 2018 ford raptor. And to this day im stll continuing building my F to match the driving dynamics of that CTR, and im almost there!!!

I drove a new CTR... it was fun. Had terrible traction issues in 1-2 though, despite the reviews that it doesn’t drive like a FWD. maybe on a track it does not. But on the street, it spun a lot.

Once you hit 3rd, it was very quick.

Whats the reason you're getting rid of the ISF?

Ever since owning and selling a Mercedes CD300 Turbo Diesel and thinking it was the best car ever made I have been on a quest to find a Car, as reliable, as understated, overbuilt, midsize, comfortable and fun to drive. In my humble opinion the ISF is that car. There are a zillion cars on the planet however very few do as much well as the ISF does. Once inside the cockpit the driver has ample room and regardless of size its comfortable to sit it. Its not that hard to get in or out of either. I am 6'5", 265 Lbs with chronic back pain and fit just fine. Of course no one can sit behind me, but for me, there is lots of space where I need it. Very few cars, for the price, handle as well, have as much power, and are as fun to drive. In my humble opinion you cannot buy a better car for the price. I sold a 911 twin turbo 1996 model year, and don't regret it one iota. Hated the attention, it wasn't nearly as forgiving to drive, was flat out rough. Sure it was faster, however I like everything else about the ISF better. Easier to get in and out of, quieter to drive, nicer sounding engine, attracts very little attention, more reliable, much easier to work on ( I do all my own maintenance), easier to get parts. I can't see myself ever selling the ISF.
Current cars are IS250, ls460, LX470 x 2, ISF. For the money I can't think of a better car to buy.

Truth is, not as much as I thought, but I also feel I upgraded. That said, I thought pretty hard about keeping my 08 because I felt it was a special car.

V your 100% right about price point over $200k more when new. And more importantly class of car from 11yr old sport sedan to bonafide new supercar. ISF is no where near class of that beauty.

I’d choose my F over that McLaren. That’s not just fan boy talk either. I just don’t feel attracted to super cars with super price tags, but maybe that’s an income level thing. No disrespect, I just don’t want supercar maintenance or price tags, I don’t feel it’s worth the small increase in smiles.

If your a very competitive driver, then maybe it matters. I am not competitive, so don’t see the benefit of a 250k car over my 39k car.

It is beautiful though. I wish you many happy miles. I’m not cheap, but more of a bang for your buck kind of guy. I feel the F can bring just as much happiness and experience.

Yes, it will never hang with a MCLaren.

Sorry guys, long story semi-short and truth be told, that is really not my car. It was my car for more than a month, but I could not afford that long-term and I will share the story and my experience with it.
