Default Will they fit?

I took forever deciding what rims I wanted, and i landed on TE37 in a 18x9.5 et 45. Now I’m looking at tires, and I’m tempted to run a 265/40/18 in the Yokohama Advan AO52 in a square set up. They have a 10 inch tread width and run tall at 26.5 inches tall.

im at stock height and refuse to roll fenders. Will those fit front and back, and how detrimental to gearing is the extra half inch in tire height?

i originally only wanted to hit 11s, but I’ll probably run a couple of track days so I want great all around tires. The streets here suck, so the extra cushion will be nice as well.

Will they fit with no rubbing / rolling fenders?

I'm no fitment expert so will let others chime in but i've used https://www.willtheyfit.com/ in the past to get a rough idea of how measurements will change.

If you're sticking with a 265 I would go with a 35 series tires but, either way, The width will not be an issue whatsoever. The 265/35/18's on my Advan wheels in those same specs have a bunch of clearance even with my car being really low.

265/35 won’t survive here. Our roads are 99% the same condition of Chicago / New York. I’ve bent rims multiple times on 255/35s (three wheels).

Since I spent soooooo much on my Volks, I’d like a little more height. The other option is 275/35 square... but I found a sweet deal on the 265/40s.

Yes those will fit, if you're at stock height you should be fine with the exception of hard dips. You may rub on the fender liner just because that extra half inch, otherwise that width, offset and tire size will be okay on stock fenders.

They won’t be done until late March. Apparently Volk is busy!

im running 275/35/18 on my RPF1s same wheel specs as yours. Pretty good meaty tire.

Yup! Usually the case as these wheels pretty much are sold when they are in stock.
