Default Possibly buying an IS-F. What you think?

There's an 08 ISF with 93k miles at a dealership asking 21.5k.

There's not many for sale around where I live (chicago) and I've been getting more addicted to these cars and I know they sustain value crazy good.

I'm looking to take out a loan for the first time with putting around $4,000 down or so.

Now, say if I purchase the ISF for 21.5k, would you think it'll hold somewhat value after let's say like, 120k+ miles + 4 years old-er from now?

I can't afford anything else more then that but I wanted to know what you experts have to say.

Link for the F: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...6385/overview/

Get this car or look for an s2000 + daily my 03' GS around?

I would pass on this. Rear ended and white seats is not ideal. With patience you will find a clean title for that price. And no it will not hold its value due to the accident

Went to go see and test drive the car. The ISF is just an ANIMAL. Great car, great everything, however that car was just junk. Saw overspray on the trunk for whatever reason and the front bumper wasn't aligned and I was told there was a 'minor front end accident with minor damage' but it didn't line up. I didn't catch anything on the rear, though? The center console also had 3 cracks and other stuff. I get it's going to be an 11 year old car soon but something def beat it to ****. Unfortunate.

Going to keep looking for another ISF or resort to an s2000 which was my backup.

Why do I feel like they've had that car sitting there forever? I bought my F from Lexus Arlington in April, and I feel like I remember seeing this car listed at M&I motors lol

They said the car has been there for awhile and when I tried negotiating the price they pretty much said absolutely firm. I haven't looked at any ISF's aside from this one in person but it's junk compared to the others one for sale. Wish I took more pics but whatever, lol.

The car is overpriced, perhaps if no accidents or better bodywork.
And if they're asking $21.5 they have room to move. If they're at their bottom then they overpaid for the car. It will end up at auction

I’d wait to afford a nicer one. I love the S2000, and personally had an AP2. I love the ISF way more. It’s classier and much, much faster. Especially a FBO. If you live in the rust belt, keep your daily and save for an iSF. Keep us updated!

Dang I was going to check this one out! Disappointed to hear it sounds like it's beat. Any other things stood out to you about the car? Did the seats seem worn?
