IS-F to a C7 corvette
I've really been thinking about it. The styling of the F and the constant "is that an F sport" comments have me losing interest in the car. Combine with the exuberant parts and labor costs for mods.
Anyone make the switch, is it a thumbs up or down?

Same answer for those who get their interests piqued by new Mustang/Camaro: better platform for performance, but less practical and you will be one of the 100000000 people that own one of those.
Oh, and probably less reliable in the long term.

Agree with above. If you just want to change, go ahead. I like being anonymous and the “what is that” question after they see and hear it perform. Then when cops are on the side of the road I just roll on buy untouched. It’s nice to be anonymous. I also take clients out in a luxury car for lunch. If they saw me in a corvette, I’m sure some cliches would come to their mind.
that being said, I was in the Auburn car show a couple of weeks ago beside a hellcat and heavily modified 5.0. My car received probably 1/3 the attention as the others. I blame it on the boring engine bay. Nobody knows it’s fast with the hood popped.

I've had JDM cars the past 7 times in 10 years. Im a young guy in my 20s, nothing else in the JDM scene is remotely exciting anymore. So no one went that way? Comparing a vette to a camaro or mustang is kinda harsh tho lol

If you want exciting stuff, by all means choose the Vette.
Most of the people I know with Z06's are from Northern Virginia but they do play mostly in MD lol.
You're just comparing two completely different cars. It really just depends on what you want to use your car for.
I completely agree with Jwconeil, I'd rather fly under the radar and know that I own a car that most people know nothing about.

Stingrays are boring, cheaply built, and a dime a dozen. It'll also look, and be outdated in another year or 2. Always a new model out every 2 years....and the old ones just look "old" after a few years☹️.

if I want to build an all out track car that I was going to destroy, it would be a vette. Otherwise I’m biased and don’t like them lol.
